Over five years, Slow Coral transformed Xiashantou Village in Wenzhou into a vibrant rural cultural tourism hub. By activating village spaces and introducing diverse cultural elements, the project attracted young residents, boosted the local economy, and created a sustainable model for rural revitalization.

Inspired by the form of traditional Mongolian yurts, the design embraces generous open spaces, remaining undefined and seamlessly integrated with the natural pasture. Since its completion, the Eye of Amyta has attracted a large number of young visitors, becoming a new highlight of the scenic area and a landmark spot for social media check-ins.

By renovating and upgrading the Shangjiangbu Station on Qiandao Lake into a model, we are creating a new commercial experience along the Qiandao Lake cycling loop, creating a unique commercial community destination. This will provide a more valuable destination for enthusiasts of life, art, and local culture.

Based on the original architecture, the interior spaces retain the original wooden beam structure. Retro bricks and textured paint are used throughout, and partitions are strategically added to create a unique experience for each cabin. Soft furnishings incorporate local ethnic elements, creating a comfortable and original atmosphere.

As a historical and cultural building, the exterior structure, roof tiles, and corridors remained unchanged. After reinforcing the original building, the designers replaced some of the original doors and windows with large expanses of glass, bringing in natural light. Unlike the dense and bustling city, the restaurant's design evokes a sense of tranquility and natural comfort.
